What’s Your Hair Cocktail?
May 9th, 2009 hair care, Celebrity Hair

Every woman has her favorite mixed drink, but noone talks about their favorite hair cocktail. I surveyed my fab friends and asked for their hair regimine.

Hair Type 1: Naturally curly, very thick, permed for several years, decided to go natural!! Wants to flip between straight and curly.

Shampoo - Deva Curl No-Poo:  non-drying, no lather, but very moisturizing, a whole new way to no-poo ur hair!

Condition - Deva Curl One-Condition and Mixed Chicks deep conditioner once a week.

Leave-In Conditioner:  Mixed Chicks Leave In or Humectress by Nexxus - or sometime a lil of both.  Great detanglers

Styling: Curls Soufflee (also tried milkshake):  http://www.curls.biz/curly-hair-products/Curl-Souffl-p-16149.html  or Miss jessy pudding, its a lil too heavy for me.

Hair Type 2: Straight, extremely thick, permed for several years, decided to go natural, wants to stay straight!Shampoo- Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo. Or the generic version of it that they sell at sallys. I love it because it smells great and it tingles

Conditioner- tea tree conditioner. It tingles too :-)

Styling: carols daughter black vanilla leave in conditioner. My hair has a tendency to look dull so I use a teeny bit of carols daughter hair elixir while it’s still wet. Right now I am using a combo of the Mixed chicks leave in, miss jessies curly buttercreme, and carols daughter hair milk.

Deep condition once a week with miss jessies rapid recovery treatment (thanks to Alicia)

Straight hair- carols daughter black vanilla leave in conditioner and a dime size amount of the healthy hair butter to moisturize. After blow drying and flat ironing I use d’zire hair gloss. A high watt blow dryer. I use bluebird 2100 watts and the infamous chi

Not only do the shampoos and conditioners receive excellent reviews, but other products as well, including their phomillient styling foam. Aveda provides great products for low prices!
