SURPRISE! Just kidding, I’m talking abut my hair, calm down… This Memorial Day, I decided to take it back to my roots - I got rid of the highlights and went back to black. I talk SOO much about others hair and SOO many of you have emailed about my hair that I thought I’d share this moment with you. It was a long, hard battle and lots of text messages with my stylist and best friend, but I decided to make the move. Many thought I’d turn back, many thought I’d be a wuss and stay with the highlights, but I went for it! What led me to my decision? I was tired of the highlights, I’d had them for about 2 years, and my hair was starting to look unhealthy. I LOVE hair as you can tell and I wanted to do something drastic and different. To you, black isn’t drastic, but for me giving up the highlights was drastic. I went with a semi-permanent I was so afraid, but I’m SOLD! I love it.

In all fairness, I talk both negative AND positive about America’s hair, so here’s your chance. I welcome the feedback. The first exposed pictures of me on the blog. Read fast, this post will self-destruct.
