This is a pic of Teyana backstage at the Diesel runway. She’s rocking some VERY cute ringlets. Keep reading for tips on creating your own ringlets. Teyana Taylor’s song, Google Me, wasn’t a huge success, but from the looks of things, she has a HUGE potential career in modeling. She’s waay too short according to Tyra, but she’s got the confidence and attitude to rock the runway. I’m loving this look, I’d love to see Teyana pull off a short cropped cut like Rihanna. Teyana, we know you read… so let us see it.

Get Ringlet Curls on Wavy or Curly Hair
Step 1:
Style wavy or curly hair when freshly shampooed. Hair should be wet or damp.
Step 2:
Apply styling product of your choice. This can be a soft-hold gel or mousse.
Step 3:
Use hair clips to hold hair you’re not working on out of the way. This might not be necessary if your hair is short.
Step 4:
Wind a small section of hair around your index finger. Roll this section all the way to your scalp around your finger.
Step 5:
Release the section of hair. You should have created a ringlet curl.
Step 6:
Repeat steps four and five over all the sections of hair you want to curl.
Get Ringlet Curls on Straight Hair
Step 1:
Begin styling on freshly shampooed and dried hair.
Step 2:
Preheat your curling iron or hot curlers.
Step 3:
Part hair into four sections with the comb, two in the front and two in the back.
Step 4:
Use hair clips to hold hair that you’re not working on out of the way.
Step 5:
Begin with a back section of hair.
Step 6:
Wrap a section of hair around the curling iron barrel, beginning at the bottom and rolling it up toward your scalp. The iron should be held vertically as you roll it.
Step 7:
Unroll the curling iron slowly, releasing your hair.
Step 8:
If using hot curlers, wrap a section of hair around the curler, beginning at the bottom and rolling it up toward your scalp. Instead of rolling the curlers under or over, they should be rolled sideways so that they end up in a vertical position.
Step 9:
Secure the curler in place with a hair pin or clamp.
Step 10:
Repeat steps six through nine, depending on which curling tool you’re using, over your entire head.
Step 11:
Once hair is completely cool, gently pull the end of each ringlet to stretch it.
